Baby Reindeer grote favoriet voor de BAFTA’s

Met zes Emmy’s op z’n conto, ziet het ernaar uit dat Baby Reindeer nu ook - met acht nominaties - de grote favoriet is van de BAFTA’s, de Britse tegenhanger van de Amerikaanse Emmy’s. De Netflixserie kreeg nominaties voor onder meer ‘beste drama’, ‘beste mannelijke hoofdrol’, ‘beste vrouwelijke bijrol’ voor zowel Jessica Gunning als Nava Mau. Met deze nominatie wordt Mau de eerst transgender die een BAFTA-nominatie krijgt.

Met zes nominaties volgden Mr. Bates VS. The Post Office, Rivals en Slow Horses. Verder in het rijtje vinden we ook nog Say Nothing en de documentaire Life And Death In Gaza met elk vier nominaties.

De BAFTA’s worden uitgereikt op 11 mei.
