BAFTA Craft-nominaties zijn bekend

Hoewel het ook BAFTA-Awards zijn, genieten de Craft Awards niet de aandacht die de ‘gewone’ BAFTA’s krijgen. Nochtans vormen ze er en onderdeel van en bekronen ze de meer technische aspecten van het televisiewerk.
Het programma dat dit jaar de lijst aanvoert is Penny Dreadful, de serie van Showtime die in april bij ons uitkomt op DVD. Penny kreeg vijf nominaties en wordt gevolgd door het schitterende The Honourable Woman dat bij ons vanaf 31 maart te zien is op Canvas en vier nominaties kreeg. Daarna volgen Peaky Blinders en Da Vinci’s Demons met elk drie.
De nominaties voor de ‘gewone’ BAFTA TV Awards worden bekend gemaakt op 8 april. De uitreiking van de Craft Awards vindt plaats op 26 april, die van de ‘belangrijke’ BAFTA’s op 10 mei.
