Geen uitgesproken favoriet voor de BAFTA’s

Eerder kondigden we de nominaties aan voor de BAFTA-Craft Awards, dit keer is het de beurt aan de meer gekende nominaties, namelijk die voor acteurs en actrices, tv-films en series. Happy Valley, Line Of Duty, Marvellous en The Missing  voeren het lijstje aan met elk drie nominaties. Series die volledig over het hoofd gezien werden, waren o.a. The Fall en Downton Abbey (Broadchurch kwam niet in aanmerking). Opvallend is ook dat The Honourable Woman, dat momenteel te zien is op Canvas, en hoofdactrice Maggie Gyllenhaal (die voor haar rol een Golden Globe won) niet genomineerd werden daar waar de serie toch goed is voor vijf nominaties (inbegrepen de vier Craft-nominaties). Maar er waren nog meer vreemde nominaties, teveel om verder over uit te weiden…

In de categorie ‘internationaal’ zal het gaan tussen The Good Wife, True Detective, House Of Cards en Orange Is The New Black. De uitreiking vindt plaats op 10 mei in Londen.
