Reservation Dogs wint twee awards

Op de uitreiking van de Independent Spirit Awards afgelopen zondag werden Lee Jung-jae (Squid Game) en Thuso Mbedu (The Underground Railroad) gelauwerd als ‘beste acteur’ en ‘best actrice’ in een nieuwe serie. De award voor ‘beste ensemble cast’ ging naar Reservation Dogs die ook de prijs won voor ‘beste nieuwe serie’.

Volgens de organisatie komen die series in aanmerking die esthetisch verantwoord zijn, originele en provocatieve onderwerpen hebben en een unieke en gediversifieerde benadering tonen voor een nominatie.
