Shōgun wint ook bij de SAG-Awards

Afgelopen weekend vonden in het Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall de uitreiking plaats van de Screen Actors Guild Awards, de prijzen die jaarlijks toegekend worden door de belangenvereniging van de acteurs en actrices.

Net zoals bij andere prijsuitreikingen won Shōgun de prijs voor ‘beste dramaserie’, met Hiroyuki Sanada en Anna Sawai als winnaars van de prijnzen voor ‘beste acteur’en ‘beste actrice’. Only Murders In The Building kreeg de award voor ‘beste komedie’ met als toetje de award voor Martin Short voor ‘beste acteur in een komedie’. Het vrouwelijke equivalent ging niet verrassend naar Jean Smart voor haar vertolking in Hacks. Tot slot wonnen The Penguin‘s Colin Farrell en Baby Reindeer’s Jessica Gunning de SAG-award voor ‘beste acteur en actrice in een miniserie’.
