The Americans en Mrs. Maisel winnen op de CCA's

Deze nacht werden door de Broadcast Television Journalists Association voor de 24ste keer de Critics’ Choice Awards, uitgereikt. De Critics’ Choice Awards mogen dan wel niet zo bekend zijn als de Golden Globes of de Emmy’s, ze zijn alleszins waardevol en geven een uitstekend beeld van het betere werk op film- en televisiegebied.

Bovenaan de lijst van meest genomineerde series vonden we The Americans, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story en Escape At Dannemora met elk vijf nominaties. De winnaars van de avond werden The Americans en The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel die elk drie awards wonnen. The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, Sharp Objects en Barry kregen er elk twee. De winnaars lagen in de lijn van de verwachting en sloten erg aan bij de Golden Globe-winnaars.
